Lead the charge with Duratec NSW and help us grow our client base while delivering exceptional service and solutions.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the National Business Development Manager and working with the state management team:

  • Compile lists of prospective clients using directories and other sources.
  • Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of our products, services, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Visit regular and potential clients to identify and act on sales opportunities.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity, reporting insights to sales management.
  • Quote and negotiate prices and credit terms, complete contracts, and record orders.
  • Coordinate delivery, installation, and service provision.
  • Report on sales performance and product marketability.
  • Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
  • Prepare detailed sales reports and maintain records of business expenses.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience in sales where you've consistently demonstrated your ability to drive growth.
  • Aptitude for conducting thorough market research to build robust industry knowledge and inform business strategies.
  • Negotiation skills that enable you to secure favourable outcomes for the company.
  • Confidence and capability in presenting to groups of senior managers and clients, ensuring clear communication and engagement.
  • Ability to foster team rapport and create a collaborative work environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, using these tools to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • A valid driver’s license, facilitating travel and client visits as required.
